Tooth Sensitivity


  Tooth sensitivity is a very common proplem which somehow, some of us live with.

The though of ice makes you wince. If that is the case then, you need to visit your dentist. You do not have to live with this annoying but persistent problem.

Tooth senstivity is not a disease like black tooth or caries, but it is a source of immense discomfort and pain for many people, which needs to be treated.

There are a variety of products available to reduce/eliminate sensitivity:

- Fluorides- available in paste form, in prescription strngths, in office as well as over the counter.

- Tooth Mousse- Recaldent: Combination of amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP) and casein phosphopeptide (CPP) obtained from milk casein.

-Tooth Mousse Plus

-Arginine and calcium carbonate- Colgate sensitive pro relief.

-Inorganic bio active silica- calcium phosphosilicate

-Strontium chloride- trade name Sensodyne, very commonly available over the counter drug.
